Held in 2025 at Don Bosco Utume, this special two-day event marked the 150th Anniversary of the first Salesian Missionary Expedition. Under the theme“ You Shall be my witness” as in Acts 1:8, the gathering offered a moment of deep gratitude for the missionary zeal of Don Bosco and the first Salesians who sailed to Argentina in 1875. Participants, Salesians, students, religious and other collaborators reflected on the legacy of Salesian mission work, re-evaluated its relevance today, and explored new paths for missionary engagement in a rapidly changing world. The event was both a celebration and a renewal of the missionary spirit that continues to inspire Salesians globally as they carry out the mission of the Church. Not only that, but also it was an inspiration to other religious congregations and societies of apostolic life in their zeal for missions.
